This role is ideal for a talented and ambitious professional Systems Engineer – IT Infrastructure. The role of Systems Engineer – IT Infrastructure entails being responsible for, the installation, configuration and commissioning of complex network servers, PC and other systems such as CCTV and building monitoring systems that make up our maritime surveillance systems. You will be at the forefront of working on our Networking capabilities along with supporting our project teams both in the UK and Internationally for the build and national integration of our systems. This role is ideal for a talented and ambitious IT Network Engineer where you will be engaged with designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks, ensuring reliable and secure communication and data transfer. You will troubleshoot network issues, optimise performance, and work to implement security measures to protect our data and systems. The IT Network Engineer will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. We are seeking an experienced of Electrical Installation Technician to provide remote and in-person support to our field installation teams and subcontractors. Your role will be to create, review and check electrical installation schematics and plans for a wide variety of equipment ranging from a maritime surveillance radar to a genset or CCTV security and building monitoring system. You will review engineering designs proposed by sub-contractors, inspecting and reviewing completed work to ensure quality standards and completing reports, along with training and coaching field engineers both remotely and onsite to conduct work to the highest quality standards.

Senior IT Network and Infrastructure Systems Engineer – UK & International Travel
SRT are recruiting for a Senior IT Network and Infrastructure Systems Engineer to work with the UK Project support, and in-country project teams. You will be at the forefront of working with our project teams, subcontractors and customers for the build and national integration of our systems. These projects are typically a long-term initiative, implemented in phases to maximise operational efficiency and effectiveness.
This role is ideal for a talented and ambitious Senior IT Network and Infrastructure Systems Engineer where you will be responsible for receiving the SRT reference network architecture patterns and project specific low-level designs and implementing them in-field for customer deployments. This will involve distilling the LLDS (Low-Level Design Specifications) down into project specific implementation drawings and work instructions for other engineers but also creating as-is design documents for site configuration, including installation design drawings per site/site type (rack layouts, room layouts, power and comms schematics etc) and network configuration designs for all components relating to the core products but also how they integrate to the wider systems (e.g. CCTV, VOIP etc.)

The role is to understand, plan and manage the required process to complete the project and to co-ordinate and actively manage the multiple contractors, and SRT’s own resources and logistics to successfully complete each site and ultimately the whole project. You as our Programme Manager will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing and delivering similar projects in non-Western countries. You will be highly organised and able to see the big picture whilst also being able to identify and manage critical path project streams effectively and efficiently.
- ESSENTIAL – Extensive experience as a Programme Manager for similar multi-site IT systems – ideally communication-based infrastructure
